Nashville 9 Filming and Recording Completed!

Writing, recording and filming for The Nashville 9 was completed on November 9th! We'd like to extend a big thank you to everyone involved: the sponsors and other individuals who generously provided products, services and food; the organizations and individuals who authorized the use of their facilities; the recording artists and producers; the cast and crew; the storytellers; and the unsung team members that made the nine days such a success. But there's still work to be done and a premiere in March 2009! Keep checking back for news, blogs and updates over the next several months.

SAVE THE DATE!

Lots of New Content Coming to thenashville9.com

Now that we've almost completely recovered from the intense nine-day project (not to mention the months of pre-production), we're turning our attention to our web site. Beginning Dec. 1 and continuing for nine weeks, we'll be giving you an inside look at each day of the project through blog posts by screenwriter Chad Morgan and songwriter Luke Sheets. On each of the project's nine days, Morgan and Sheets took a story contributed by someone in Nashville and wrote a film scene and song, respectively, based on that story. Now the two writers will be sharing the story that was chosen each day, then sharing their thoughts and memories of writing that day. The Nashville 9's blog (http://www.thenashville9.com/blog/) will feature regular updates based on the following schedule:

- Each Monday, one of the project's selected stories will be posted.

- Each Wednesday, screenwriter Chad Morgan will post a new blog entry detailing his writing process for that day's scene.

- Each Friday, songwriter Luke Sheets will post a new blog entry detailing his writing process for that day's song.
